For time-consuming jobs such as reinstalling the operating system, or for major repairs, the NickWorks workshop is ready and waiting. Workshop repairs are available to anyone who is signed up for the NickWorks Bronze Service plan. Computers should be dropped off at the workshop and collected when ready.

If replacement parts are needed, these are chargeable as extra. A replacement hard drive costs around £30-£40.

Note that if Microsoft Office needs to be reinstalled NickWorks will need access to the original Microsoft account used to set it up. If this is not available it may be necessary to purchase another copy or replace it with a free version.
